Bob Hopeful ran the second race of his career last week at Wolverhampton and we were pleased with his effort, managing a 4th place spot and entitled to enter the Winner's Enclosure. Again he was slowly away (but not as much as first time out) but he made up the ground readily and settled near the rear. He made good progress down the back straight and heading for the home turn and at one point it looked as though he might be involved in the finish. However, his effort faded but we were pleased with his attitude and he attained a 4th position which was one place better than first time out.
He should progress with further racing and once he has recovered from his last race we will look for another maiden for him.
