Mamoo ran a fine race in defeat on Friday evening at Newmarket. He enjoyed the step up from 10f to 12f although he was never going to get to the winner who dominated from the front.He is not the biggest horse in the yard but he has a great stride on him and he put that to good use in the race. We will look for another race over a similar distance or slightly further as he is a strong galloper.
